The sold-out Girls show at the Biltmore in Vancouver on Oct. 4 kicked everyone’s ass. If you weren’t there, you missed out.
For roughly the same price as seeing the Lion King 3D in theatres ($15), spectators were treated to an explosive show with three fantastic bands. The night’s leading man was Christopher Owens, the frontman for Girls, with his energetic stage presence and crooked, lovable smile. Sonny Smith, the frontman for the opening band Sonny & the Sunsets, was equally as charismatic. These San Franciscans sure are an odd bunch, but boy did we fall in love.
