Women’s provincial soccer banner is Kwantlen’s first
Kwantlen players, coaches, faculty and fans all gathered in the newly renovated gymnasium on Friday night to celebrate a monumental moment in our school’s history. Kwantlen’s first championship banner was raised and now occupies an important spot on a once bare walls.
A Season Hanging in the Balance
The women battled hard on Thanksgiving Monday in Coquitlam to tie the Douglas Royals 1-1 to set up what is sure to be a photo-finish for the Eagles as they enter their last weekend of BCCAA play.
Taylor Sarchet scored the tying goal in the second half and the Eagles defense, led by captain Brittany McNeill, shut down the Douglas strikers for the remainder of the game to earn the single point.
