The KSA has recently set up posters asking for Kwantlen students’ suggestions on the U-Pass.

The posters, which started being posted in late April, are equipped with a pen and paper for passers-by to jot down any ideas they may have regarding the U-Pass.
Matt Todd, Director of External Affairs for the KSA, told the Runner that the posters were set up in anticipation of government announcements regarding U-Pass pricing and other commitments next month and this September.

“[The U-Pass] is not just a bus pass,” Todd said, pointing out that U-Passes at other schools have included a range of additional bonuses.

These add-ons are usually transportation-related (for instance, coverage of emergency trips by taxi), but practically anything the students want (at the University of the Fraser Valley, U-Passes along with a student ID double as recreation passes at select recreation facilities in Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack.).
