A review of Saturday’s restaurant located on Scott Road and 80th Avenue.

When you walk into Saturday’s, you get the feeling that you are in an English pub.

The decor and friendly atmosphere contribute to the feeling you get when walking through the classic wood bar doors. The restaurant, which is located on Scott Road and 80th Avenue, opened towards the end of August and has proven to be a hit with customers.

I ordered the cod and chips. The batter surrounding the fish was crispy, while the cod was soft and tender. The chips were hand-cut and deep fried to perfection.
However, there is a lot of space at the location, and it makes itself available for a sports bar.

Saturday’s is owned by the Bhangu family, and they have been in the fish and chip business for over 15 years.

Their experience in the food industry suggests they were successful running their chippies in Wolverhampton, England.

I highly recommend Saturday’s to all students as the prices are very reasonable, and it is a few blocks away from Surrey campus.

It would be an ideal place for a meal, or an after class drink.
