PHOTOS: Misl Hoops hosts 3-on-3 basketball tournament

Misl Hoops held a three-on-three basketball tournament at Surrey’s Earl Marriott Secondary School on July 18.

The tournament featured four divisions: community, competitive, youth, and Kaurs (women’s). The event also included a three-point contest.

Misl Hoops takes its name from the 12 Sikh Misls — sovereign factions that formed in the 1700s in Punjab — many of which later united under the Khalsa Raj of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
