The Runner is student owned and operated by Kwantlen Polytechnic University students, published under Polytechnic Ink Publishing Society (PIPS).
Funds are collected by the university and channelled to PIPS via the Kwantlen Student Association.
Student Publication Fee opt-outs are available by appointment Monday – Friday with our Operations Manager. Student ID and proof of registration and payment are required.

Diego Minor Martínez (they/him/Él) is an international student from Tlaxcala, México currently studying Creative Writing at KPU. He uses his off-campus time to write, produce, and shoot various film projects. On a casual day you can find him playing video games, in the cinema, or hiking with a camera in one hand and a coffee in the other!
