The Kwantlen Student Association recently threw a party to celebrate Oktoberfest, which celebrates Bavarian culture and tradition through a people’s fair. The KSA’s event, held on Sept. 30, featured beer, sausage on special, and a showing of “Beerfest: the movie.” Shawn Mitz was the lucky winner of the Tour of Germany courtesy of Travel Cuts while Jennifer Prochazka walked home with a beer fridge from Okanagan Springs.
