The preliminary results of the 2016 Kwantlen Student Association have been announced.

Of the four KSA representatives who were running for re-election to council, two (Alex McGowan and Tanvir Singh) were successful. Once the election results have been ratified, the elected candidates will take office on April 1.

So far, one official complaint has been received by the Kwantlen Chief Returning Officer, Corey Van’t Haaff. A decision has been issued, and the appeal period for the decision has begun. There was also one regulated re-count.

All official complaints will be made public when the CRO’s final report to council is released.

Vote counts will be released with the final results, which are expected next week.
