The coolest job ever: nothing could ever go wrong — unless you are lactose intolerant

When it comes to your dream, the sky’s the limit! You can dream as big as being the president someday or having your own multi-billion company in the future. You can also be an inventor of the first flying car or a scientist with a cure for all diseases. The world is a bottomless pit of opportunities and it is up to us which path we want to take. There are many jobs to choose from, but which one is the coolest?

Imagine this: an endless line of colorful cold buckets, a variety of toppings, and a relaxing and chill atmosphere. What a paradise it would be to wake up everyday and taste unlimited flavors! Yes, you read it right. Literally, the coolest job in the world is being an Ice Cream Taster! (Unless you are Lactose Intolerant).

I heard about this job as I was scrolling through social media over two years ago. As soon as the video started, it immediately caught my attention as an ice cream enthusiast because I never knew that there was even such a thing. The guy featured in the video spent more than 30 years of his life working as an ice cream taster. He would bring his favorite set of spoons and probably have ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (how ideal!). Other than checking the quality and texture of the dessert, he would also think of new and unusual flavors to captivate customers and keep them interested with their brand.

When you think of it, ice creams have been around for as long as we can remember. It is a part of everyone’s lives whether for a celebration or for comfort from a heartbreak. It brings happiness, relief, and satisfaction to whoever eats it. It is also a work of art to mix-and-match flavors and toppings to develop new ice cream selections. The demand of the job can be a handful with limitations on what food to eat to keep the palette in mint condition, but what is not to love about having yourself surrounded with ice cream and getting paid to taste all the flavors?

Being an Ice Cream Taster is the coolest job I know, but as I have said, there are other dreamy jobs in the market, too. We may have different ideas as to what the coolest jobs are based on our interests and hobbies, and it is just a matter of preference. At the end of the day, we should listen to our hearts and take the path where we can enjoy and be happy in doing the things we genuinely love.
