Living in the digital age, it’s no surprise we all spend most of our days online. Fortunately for us, we can make jobs out of it. Becoming an influencer is easy and does not cost much starting out. I believe being an influencer is considered a “real job” for many reasons.

First of all, it brings in money. At the start it may seem like your earnings are meager, but that is all part of the process. Many influencers have come out with “viral” videos or TikToks that paved their way to becoming an internet celebrity. Now, these same influencers are making millions with paid YouTube promotions and various brand deals.

In a way, it is similar to running a business or working in digital marketing, only more creative. Essentially, influencers design and choose the theme for their videos based on their personality and what viewers want to see.

Not only does it pay well but being an influencer also has its perks. Many influencers are able to get their videos funded by popular brands which allows them to travel and do special activities that would take the majority of people years of saving up for, such as vacations.

Although trends come and go fairly quickly, it is vital for influencers to constantly stay up to date on the latest trends so they don’t fall behind. This ensures viewers and hardcore fans are still interested in their content.

Practicing healthy lifestyles and mediations also helps ease the stress and pressure of putting yourself online. In fact, many influencers promote healthy lifestyles through their content for other people who may be struggling with their self image.

Videos are not just limited to one topic. Being an influencer means trying many things, including vlogging, makeup tutorials, how-to videos, and much more.

Influencing does not necessarily have to be a side career. If you gain enough views and popularity, it basically becomes a full-time job. It’s also a way to connect with people all around the world who view your content as well as share your personal opinions.

Overall, being an influencer can be considered a real job and not just for the money, but the memories too. It is a nostalgic thing to look back on old videos and content they created to see just how successfully they’ve grown their fan base.
